An ETPLAS Working Group led by Dr. Ismene Dontas has released a new report titled "Guidance on the Assessment of Learning Outcomes for Those Designing Procedures and Projects", corresponding to function b) specific modules. This document outlines specific assessment criteria for each learning outcome related to research design modules, emphasizing knowledge, skills, and critical thinking.

The guidance aims to help educators and training providers in harmonizing the standards of education for individuals preparing to design research procedures and projects using animals in compliance with Directive 2010/63/EU.
